COLATINA, ESPÍRITO SANTO, BRAZIL – AUGUST 17, 2026 Serious motorcycle accident occurred in the Operário neighborhood. Two young men, aged 26 and 18, were riding the motorcycle when, for reasons that have not yet been determined, they crashed into the wall of a residential house at high speed.
According to all available information, the motorcycle was going through a curve before the crash. During the collision, the 18-year-old passenger was thrown from the motorcycle, while the 26-year-old rider remained trapped on the motorcycle against the house wall. Both men were injured.
Emergency medical services from Samu arrived at the scene and transported both injured men to Hospital Estadual Sílvio Avidos in Colatina. According to available information, their condition was stable.
Police have not yet determined the exact cause of the accident. The injured men were also unable to tell officers what had happened before the crash during the initial investigation.
