PURWODADI, EAST JAVA, INDONESIA – SEPTEMBER 8, 2026 Saiman, 59, died in the evening after a truck carrying concrete crashed into his motorcycle from behind. The accident occurred near the exit of the Purwodadi highway.
Both vehicles were traveling from Malang toward Surabaya. According to police, the truck driver, 48-year-old Moh. Munir, apparently failed to maintain a safe following distance and crashed into the Honda Astrea motorcycle ridden by Saiman.
As a result of the violent impact, Saiman suffered devastating injuries, including severe head trauma, a fractured back and left arm, as well as other injuries to his limbs. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His motorcycle was severely crushed in the collision and became wedged underneath the front of the truck.
