ÉRAGNY, FRANCE – OCTOBER 16, 2020 Samuel Paty, a 47 years old history teacher in a secondary school of city Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, was found beheaded in his way home from school. The killer is a Chechen Muslim refugee and the murder was motivated by terrorism ideology, as multiple people were threatening the teacher online after he showed to his class the Charlie Hebdo caricatures that lead to the terrorist attack of the same name in 2015.

Perpetrator posted to his Twitter account the photo, captioned “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Abdullah, the Servant of Allah, to Macron, the leader of the infidels, I executed one of your helhounds who dared to belittle Muhammad, calm his fellows before we inflict you a harsh punishment..”
