BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – NOVEMBER 6, 2023 Security camera on the ground floor of an apartment building in the 6th district of the Romanian capital filmed the brutal murder of an old woman. A man beats her furiously, pours 5 liters of gasoline on her and sets her on fire. There is a random witness on the scene who tries to defend the woman but can’t stop him.
Later police investigations revealed that the victim and the attacker were related – aunt and nephew. They had an inheritance dispute between them. The name of the attacker was published in the Romanian media. His name is Alexandru Popa.
