SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – DECEMBER, 2024 Man was violently murdered in the María Auxiliadora sector of the National District. Four heavily armed men climbed out of a white van and assassinated him with several shots to the head. According to some witnesses, they were even wearing tactical bulletproof vests.
The victim was identified as Ramón Antonio Cabrera Ferrer, an off-duty National Police officer. At the time of his murder, he was just picking up his children at school. The motives for the murder are still under police investigation.
