Oliver Tree and five others died in two-helicopter collision

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – JUNE 14, 2026 Tragic collision between two helicopters occurred over the city of Rio de Janeiro, which resulted in both aircraft crashing and the deaths of a total of six people. Among the victims was also American singer Oliver Tree (32 years old). Other deceased included Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, two passengers Lucas Vignale and Lucas Brito Chaves, and both pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac. One of the helicopters crashed into a parking area after the impact, causing a fire and destroying dozens of vehicles. None of the passengers survived.

Oliver Tree was an American singer, producer, and internet personality known for his distinctive style combining alternative pop, electronic music, and absurd humor. He became known for hits such as “Life Goes On” and “Miss You” and gained worldwide popularity through viral videos and a strong visual aesthetic. He had millions of listeners on streaming platforms and was considered a notable figure in modern pop music. At the time of the accident in Brazil, he was on his world tour, during which he had scheduled performances in several countries.
