MULTAN, PUNJAB, PAKISTAN – OCTOBER 19, 2026 15-year-old Waseem Abbas died after his employer, Tauqeer Nazir, chased him in a car and struck him. The boy was from Muzaffargarh District and lived in an orphanage. He was training as an electrician under Tauqeer Nazir and had been working for him for approximately one week.
According to police information, Waseem ran away from work, and Tauqeer began chasing him. The incident was captured by security cameras. The boy suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene.
Tauqeer Nazir was detained, and police launched an investigation on suspicion of murder. The motive for the incident has not been fully clarified. Reports mention a dispute related to the boy leaving his job and unpaid wages.
