CARABAYLLO, PERU – JANUARY 13, 2025 In the La Cumbre area, on Las Margaritas Street, a taxi driver working for El Progreso was murdered. The hitman pretended to be his customer, but waited for an opportune moment and killed him from behind with four shots while driving. He recorded the murder on his cell phone to provide evidence for his employer. But the video soon went viral on social media.
The driver of the tricycle taxi was identified as 60-year-old Rodolfo Zavala Soto. So far, police have no clues that could lead them to the motive for his murder or the identity of the perpetrator.
