Phone snatcher attacked by aggressive mob

KENYA Man attempted to snatch a mobile phone. However, he was caught in the act, after which a crowd gathered at the scene, consisting mainly of motorcycle taxi riders who wanted to take justice into their own hands. They repeatedly assaulted him, even in the presence of a police officer who tried to shield him. In Kenya, many similar incidents end in fatal lynchings. In this case, however, the presence of the police probably saved his life.
