Pickup truck with passengers in bed rams into guardrails, 2 dead

UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA – MARCH 3, 2026 Tragic crash of a pickup truck carrying 14 people occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the Unnao district. On Tuesday morning, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the guardrails, after which the vehicle overturned. The accident claimed two lives – the driver and a three-year-old girl named Diksha died. Other passengers, who were returning home for the holidays, suffered injuries of varying severity. Police are investigating the incident based on surveillance footage.
