ISTANBUL, TURKEY – OCTOBER, 2014 Cem Garipoğlu was the sadistic murderer of 17-year-old high school student Münevver Karabulu. On March 3, 2009, her butchered body was found in a garbage container. Her head had been cut off from her body.
Garipoğlu eluded justice for 197 long days before he was arrested and convicted on the basis of DNA evidence. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison. However, he committed suicide by hanging in Istanbul’s Silivri prison. You can see his corpse in the morgue in the photos.
