FLORIDA CITY, FLORIDA, USA – JUNE 23, 2012 Darren Rainey was a mentally ill inmate at the Dade Correctional Institution. In his prison cell, he smeared his feces on the walls. So the warden sent him to the shower and told him that he wouldn’t let him out until he was clean. Rainey reportedly refused to stand underwater. He was found dead about two hours later, covered in hot water burns.
