CHINA, 2008 A young Chinese woman ran a cosmetics shop and lived modestly in a room behind the shop to save money on housing costs. This information was known about her and the rapist decided to take advantage of it. He broke into the shop while she was asleep, raped her and then strangled her to death with a scarf. Her corpse was found the next day because people found it strange that she did not open the shop or answer the phone.
