BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – JULY 25, 2023 41-year-old businessman and trader Fernando Pérez Algaba was found dead in the Ingeniero Budge district of Buenos Aires. His remains were found dismembered, packed in a trunk and thrown into a stream. His corpse was found by children playing nearby.

An autopsy showed he had been killed by multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The case is still under investigation. Pérez Algaba was a controversial entrepreneur who founded a cryptocurrency fund that went bankrupt. He has made many enemies and recently received threats.
