KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, USA – FEBRUARY 14, 2024 Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory celebration ended in tragedy, resulting in one fatality and 22 injuries. Gunshots rang out in the crowd in the crowded town square, resulting in a stampede. People tried to hide behind trees, benches. Although the police intervened relatively quickly because they were present at the scene, they could not prevent the consequences of the panic.

The victim has been identified as Lisa Lopez-Galvan. She was the popular DJ of local radio station KKFI. Unfortunately, there were children among the injured. Injuries ranged from minor to critical.
Police quickly identified and arrested three suspects. Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a dispute that erupted and escalated in the crowd.
