VRINDAVAN, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA – SEPTEMBER 25, 2026 25-year-old Deepak Lodhi, known after adopting the spiritual name Rasik Dulari Sharan, died after falling from the fourth floor of Guru Kripa Kunj, a residential complex for disciples and other members of the spiritual community surrounding Indian spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj.

Police are currently working with the theory of suicide. However, the circumstances of his death are still under investigation. In addition to injuries caused by the fall from a height, serious injuries to his genitals were also found on his body. A grinder with traces of blood was found in his room and has been subjected to forensic examination by police.
Investigators are also examining security camera footage and Deepak Lodhi’s cell phone, including allegedly deleted data. His family has questioned some circumstances of the case and is demanding a thorough investigation into his death.
