NANDED, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA – APRIL 4, 2026 Violent clash between two rival gangs ended with the deaths of three people. The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. near D-Mart Road after members of both groups were returning from a movie theater.
Arijit Singh Chavan (25) and Mohammad Arbaaz Mohammad Farooq (23) died at the scene. A third man, Syed Avez Syed Khalil (27), was seriously injured and taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital. According to police, he was later attacked inside the hospital and died after suffering multiple stab wounds.
Police stated that the conflict was linked to a long-standing rivalry between the gangs. Pradip Chavan has been accused of carrying out the hospital attack and has already been arrested. Authorities are investigating the case as gang warfare, and multiple criminal proceedings have been launched.
