TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 21, 2015 Renata Cardoso Gonçalves, 32, nicknamed “Renatona”, was murdered in Vila Caraípe. She was shot by an unknown hitman in the street in the evening. Renata was on the edge of the law. She had several police records for theft and drug trafficking. It was the drug trade that probably cost her her life.
