Store owner opens Fire on fleeing robbers, killing one

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 Owner of a car battery store in the southern part of the city shot one of three robbers who had robbed his business. Two of the perpetrators stormed inside, where they robbed the owner and another customer at gunpoint, while the third man remained outside.

When the three attempted to escape on a motorcycle, the owner, who is a registered firearm owner, grabbed his gun and began shooting at them. One of the robbers was hit and later died in the hospital. The other two managed to escape, and police are investigating the case.
