TÂY NINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM – APRIL 1, 2020 25-year-old student, Nguyễn Minh Cường, stabbed his 64-year-old grandmother, Ngô Thị Giàu, to death. According to all available information, he suddenly grabbed a knife and started stabbing her without warning. Ngô tried to escape, but he chased her to a soccer field, where she got caught in the goal net. That’s where he finished the attack.

The family says that Nguyễn had changed significantly over the past few months and believes a mental disorder is to blame. He was addicted to computer games and stopped communicating with everyone. All he did was lock himself in his room and play games. He even neglected his university studies in Bình Dương Province, where he was enrolled.
