SUDAN Video allegedly shows the execution of a Sudanese civilian and a soldier from the Sudanese Armed Forces. According to available information, the soldier attempted to protect the civilian from being captured, but was captured himself. The execution is reportedly carried out by a member of the RSF.
Sudan has been engulfed in a bloody civil war since 2021, with the SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces) and RSF (Rapid Support Forces) fighting for control of the country. The two factions initially cooperated in the 2019 overthrow of dictator Omar al-Bashir, but their relationship later deteriorated into open conflict. Both sides have accused each other of war crimes, while evidence shows that both have committed serious abuses.
