SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA, USA – MAY 13, 2025 Man who was threatening people with a fake gun was shot by police after he ignored repeated commands and drew an object resembling a pistol. He was hit and taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition; the weapon later turned out to be a replica. Police are investigating the incident, and the man was subsequently charged with threatening with a fake weapon and resisting arrest.
