CHINA Dead body of a Chinese teenage girl was found in a remote spot in the woods. She was already infected with insects and in the early stages of decomposition. Apparently, she went into the woods to commit suicide. A bottle of toxic substance was found near her body. Forensic experts found signs of self-harm on her wrist, indicating the victim’s mental instability.
As can be seen in this case, suicide victims are often the first warning signs. Sometimes it is self-harm, other times it is a marked change in behavior. Always be sensitive to the people in your environment and don’t be afraid to talk to them about their problems. You could be saving lives.
If you’re thinking about suicide, please stop and recognize that your pain is not permanent, but this step would be. It may feel like there’s no other way, but there is hope, even if it’s hard to see right now. Your feelings are temporary, and with help, they can pass.
