FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA, USA – APRIL 8, 2025 Mass shooting took place at the Virginia Townhouse residential complex in Spotsylvania County. During an illegal weapons transaction, a confrontation apparently broke out between the buyers and sellers. This escalated into a shootout, leaving three people dead and three others injured.

The victims have been identified as 18-year-old Chase Feaster, 18-year-old Alonzo Goffney, and a 20-year-old man whose name has not been released. All of the injured were hospitalized, but their conditions have not been specified.
Police managed to arrest all remaining individuals involved. Among them were 18-year-old Jeremiah Upson and three minors between the ages of 16 and 17.
Witnesses described the shootout as absolute chaos. Reportedly, more than 100 shots were fired.
