RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL Two women walking along the tracks were struck by a passing train. Both died at the scene, with one of them even being cut in half by the train.
At first, there was speculation about a possible joint suicide. Later it turned out to be a simple accident. The women were likely taking a shortcut home along the railway tracks.
