RUSSIA Man was awakened in the middle of the night by a massive fire that blocked his way to the exit door. He attempted to escape the fire by going out onto the balcony. Before firefighters could arrive, however, the fire had spread so much that flames began shooting out of the window and burned him alive.
The incident is a harsh reminder of the importance of fire safety in apartments. Even an ordinary smoke or CO detector costing just a few dollars can alert you to danger in time and save your life.
