OLINALÁ, GUERRERO, MEXICO Police, with the help of local residents, arrested two young men suspected of criminal activity. They were snatched from the hands of the police by angry residents and taken to a local sports ground. There they were lynched and burned to death alive.
According to some sources, the police arrived at the scene and dispersed the residents with gunfire. But it was too late and the suspects were dead.
The incident has sparked debates in Mexico about the rule of law. Everyone, including the worst criminal, has the right to a fair trial.
