One of the drivers on a night road noticed something strange by the roadside. He stopped and went to check it out. As he got closer, he realized it was a dead man, most likely hit by a car – something that was later confirmed.
A look at the man’s dark, camouflage-style clothing shows exactly why it’s so important for pedestrians walking at night to wear reflective elements, or at the very least use their phone or a flashlight to stay visible. Drivers simply have no chance of seeing you until the last few feet before impact – and by then, it’s already too late to avoid the collision.
