Woman tried to cross a fast, multi-lane highway. She paid for it with her life when she was hit by the driver of a speeding car. The driver did not have even the slightest chance to react, because it was dark and the pedestrian was not wearing any reflective elements.
Never try to imitate her behavior or cross highways and high-speed roads on foot, except at places designated for that purpose. Vehicles on highways move fast, and from a pedestrian’s perspective it is very difficult to judge their speed. Drivers also do not expect pedestrians on highways. Collisions between pedestrians and cars at high speed are almost always fatal.
