BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA – FEBRUARY 27, 2025 Thirty-two-year-old Venezuelan citizen Dubraska Deyanira Ordóñez Hermes died following a serious traffic accident. According to available information, the woman was returning from a concert by Shakira, her favorite singer, when the collision that proved fatal occurred.

The accident happened when a car allegedly ran a red light and collided with a public TransMilenio bus. The woman was inside the bus at the time of the impact and sustained very serious injuries as a result of the crash. Witnesses reported that she was thrown from the bus and became trapped under the vehicle while calling for help.
The injured woman was transported to Simón Bolívar Hospital, where doctors fought to save her life. Due to the severity of her injuries, one of her legs had to be amputated. Despite several days of hospitalization and treatment, her condition worsened, and she passed away on March 17, 2025.
The investigation focuses on the driver of the car, identified as nineteen-year-old Mateo Murillo Sánchez. Initial findings suggest he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
