CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, USA – SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 Shooting occurred in a parking lot in the South Loop neighborhood, claiming the life of a 31-year-old woman. She got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend. The argument escalated, resulting in a gun being fired and the woman being shot in the face. When paramedics arrived, she still showed some signs of life, but after being transported to Stroger Hospital, she was pronounced dead.
