CALI, VALLE DEL CAUCA, COLOMBIA – DECEMBER 1, 2025 Street celebrations marking the arrival of December and the Christmas season in the Calimío Norte area claimed at least one victim. Among the participants, a mass brawl broke out that escalated into gunfire. One of the women was hit directly in the head. A video taken shortly after shows her final moments in this world. Unfortunately, she did not survive the injury.
In addition to this female victim, one man was stabbed during the brawl. According to all available information, he survived. Several dozen other people were injured by fireworks.
Residents of the neighborhood complain about the riots that accompany these celebrations every year. They say the security situation is getting worse year by year and people are becoming increasingly aggressive during the festivities.
