ARAPIRACA, ALAGOAS, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 Near the railway tracks, on Santa Catarina street, in the Cacimbas neighborhood, a young woman was murdered. The victim was later identified as 19-year-old Roseane Carla Nunes da Silva.

Roseane was found lying on the ground in a pool of her own blood with multiple stab wounds. At the time she was found, she was unfortunately already dead. It is not yet entirely clear who the perpetrator was or their motive. Several witnesses only reported hearing screams from the scene, but no one saw anyone.
Brazilian sources report that Roseane had a significant criminal record. She was allegedly involved in several robberies and thefts.
