His family said Thiago had a psychotic break and then ran away from home. They immediately contacted the police to help with the search. According to his mother, Thiago used to have psychotic episodes quite often but was never violent because of them. He had dreams of studying IT at university.
Why he was murdered and dismembered remains a mystery. Thiago had no involvement in the crime, nor was he a member of any criminal organization.
