SIBU, MALAYSIA – FEBRUARY 24, 2024 A 24-year-old shop assistant at Sibu Jaya shopping centre was brutally attacked by an assailant armed with a knife. As CCTV footage shows, he stormed into her office where he began stabbing her without remorse. She actively resisted and he ran away a short while later. The badly injured woman crawled to the street for help.
An ambulance took the stabbed woman to the hospital, but she died there. The police managed to catch the perpetrator. He is a 28-year-old man. His motive is still unknown.
