ITAPÉ, BAHIA, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 10, 2014 14-year-old Rebeca liked to spend her free time drinking alcohol and taking drugs. She would meet a group of friends at a stream near the town of Itapé, where they would all do drugs together. One of the boys wanted the girl to have sex with him, but she refused. Under the influence of drugs, he became so angry that he beat Rebecca to death with stones and sticks. He dumped her body on the bank of a stream and littered it with branches and leaves.
Some sources say that Rebeca earned her money for drugs as a prostitute. Sometimes she was paid directly by drug dealers in exchange for sex.
