SERBIA, 2014 Janko S., 61, and his ex-wife Milena J., 45, operated a bar. Although they were divorced, neither wanted to give up their source of income. Janko was very jealous and, according to guests, often quarreled with his ex-wife.
One day, guests at their bar heard a gunshot. When Janko came out of the back room of the bar among his guests, he just said “I killed her, call the police”. The police arrived on the scene and found Milena in critical condition. She fought for her life all the way to the hospital, but died there. She left behind 2 minor children and an adult daughter from her first marriage.
