Young woman found murdered after a party

CRATO, BRAZIL In the Brazilian city of Crato, which lies next to Jauzeiro do Norte, in the state of Ceará, the dead body of a young woman was found. She was later identified as 21-year-old Laisa Alves. Her parents and witnesses testified that she and her boyfriend were supposed to be at a party the night before. The sister of the murdered woman, Verdes Mares, said she went to her boyfriend’s house and found him there with scratches on his face. He is accused of her murder. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
