CONCEIÇÃO, PARAÍBA, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 Thirty-five-year-old Wedson Camilo was sitting on the street in front of his home using a laptop when an armed man on a motorcycle suddenly appeared and fired several shots at him from close range before fleeing the scene. Wedson suffered severe injuries and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during surgery.

The incident occurred on Rua do Arame in the Nossa Senhora de Fátima neighborhood. Police immediately launched a manhunt for the perpetrator, which was successful. He was found hiding in his mother’s house in a rural area of the city. His motive has not yet been disclosed.
