Shot dead by police in streets of Nairobi

NAIROBI, KENYA – JULY 16, 2024 Kenyan police officers used firearms against a group of fleeing thieves. One of them was fatally shot. This incident divided the whole society. While some claimed that the police were justified, others pointed out the rights of the thief, who was unarmed, did not resist, and was merely trying to escape.
