Hitman attack in front of butcher shop

CASTILLA PROVINCE, PERU – APRIL 4, 2026 In front of a butcher shop on Progreso Avenue, near Miguel Cortés School, a murder occurred. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Edson Leonel Palacios Ojeda. He was surprised by a hitman right at the moment he was going to buy meat. He suffered a total of 8 gunshot wounds, several of them directly to the head. The motive remains unknown for now.
