CARMEN ALTO, PERU – APRIL, 2025 In the Peruvian region of Ayacucho, the brutal murder of 23-year-old Olga Huamán Sulca took place. According to investigators, the young woman was allegedly attacked by her cousin after she refused his request for sexual intercourse.

The main suspect became her cousin Jhon Huayhua Huamán (26), who, according to police, allegedly lured her to a room he was renting in Carmen Alto. Investigators claim that after she refused sexual contact, a conflict broke out between them, which ended with a fatal attack on the woman.
After the murder, the body was allegedly cut up and there was an attempt to dispose of the remains. Body parts were found in several different locations around Carmen Alto, which led to an extensive police investigation.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the crime. During his arrest, police allegedly found a phone belonging to the victim and also stated that he had injuries on his body that could have been caused during a struggle. According to investigators, he later confessed to the murder.

The victim’s cousin was not the only person charged in the case. Along with Jhon Huayhua Huamán, Kleydeir Aldahir Vilchez Ccaccro (20) was also convicted of the murder, as investigators said he had cooperated in the crime. Both men were found guilty of aggravated feminicide and sentenced by the court to 30 years in prison.
