CHINA When random passersby noticed the body of a woman lying in a pool of blood, they immediately called the police to the scene. Standard procedures were carried out at the scene, such as the initial examination of the body and photographic documentation. Although it was obvious at first glance that it was a suicide by jumping from a building, this fact still had to be confirmed by forensic investigation and autopsy in order to rule out foul play. This was later confirmed, and the case was closed as a suicide. The victim’s motives are not yet known.
