NACAJUCA, TABASCO, MEXICO – SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 Armed attack in a residential area ended with the deaths of three women. The victims of the shooting were Cindy Abigail, 34 years old, her daughter Asanti, 16 years old, and Victoria “N”, 40 years old. According to available information, armed attackers broke into the apartment and began shooting at the women. All three suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
According to witness statements, the perpetrators arrived on motorcycles and fled the scene after the attack. Some reports state that it was a group of several armed men who may have also hit other people during the shooting. Two men were injured in the attack and were subsequently taken to a hospital.
Police units, rescuers, and forensic investigators arrived at the scene, secured the area, and launched an investigation. Investigators collected evidence, including shell casings found at the location. According to some reports, a security camera was also damaged, which may have been connected to an attempt to remove evidence.
The motive for the attack has not yet been officially confirmed. However, local media pointed out that the case may be related to violence connected to organized crime, which has long been a serious problem in the region.
