MAUÉS, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 17, 2021 A man identified as “Amadinho” has been detained by police after stabbing his young wife to death. It happened while they were on a boat trip. After the murder, the man left her there, jumped into the water and swam to shore. Local residents noticed the body in the boat and called the military police to the scene. Before the police arrived at the scene, Amadinho was detained by the residents themselves.
