IRKUTSK, RUSSIA – JANUARY 1, 2011 Artyom Alexandrovich Anoufriev and Nikita Vakhtangovich Lytkin are two serial killers who have earned the nickname ‘Academy maniacs’. They were active in the Irkutsk region and are responsible for 6 murders and 9 injuries that occurred between December 2010 and April 2011. Anoufriev received a life sentence from the court, Lytkin 20 years in prison.

One of the murders of an unknown homeless man was filmed on video, which quickly began to spread across the Internet. It is currently a classic gore video. It is likely that the perpetrators were inspired by her Ukrainian colleagues ‘Dnepropetrovsk maniacs’ who made a similar video called ‘3 Guys, 1 Hammer’.
