RIOHACHA, LA GUAJIRA, COLOMBIA – AUGUST 4, 2026 Colombian security forces carried out a large-scale tactical operation in the Rio Acha area. During a raid on a house in the Los Olivos neighborhood, Naín Andrés Pérez Toncel, known as “Bendito Menor,” was killed. According to authorities, he was the main leader of the criminal organization Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada (ACSN).

Also killed at the scene were Rosa Angelica Tarazzona, known as “Little Baby,” who was reportedly Pérez’s partner, as well as men identified as Orlando (“NN”) and Kevin (“Casiloco”). Kevin reportedly served as Pérez Toncel’s personal bodyguard, while Orlando was believed to be part of his security team.

Members of Sijín, GOES, and Dijín took part in the operation, with some tactical teams deployed from Bogotá. According to available information, security forces had been monitoring Pérez Toncel for several weeks, and his location was identified after obtaining new communication intelligence.
ACSN is an armed criminal organization operating primarily in northern Colombia, particularly in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta area and surrounding regions. The group emerged from former paramilitary structures and, according to Colombian authorities, is involved in drug trafficking, extortion, illegal mining, smuggling, and territorial control. Through its armed members, the organization maintains influence over some communities and competes with other armed groups for control of strategic routes and territories.
According to Colombian authorities, Pérez Toncel was among the prominent figures of ACSN, which operates primarily in northern Colombia. His death represents a significant blow to the command structure of the criminal organization.
