ACAPULCO, MEXICO – MARCH 5, 2017 A woman was found dead in the basement of an apartment building. At first glance, she showed signs of violent homicide. Her whole face was smashed. Police identified her as 24-year-old Anayelli García Santiago. She was a resident of the same house. She was renting a room there with her husband, Hermes Pino Chavez. He was nowhere to be found and became the prime suspect.
