DELHI, INDIA – AUGUST 30, 2025 At the Kalkaji temple in the southeastern part of the city, a confrontation between several men ended in death. The dispute began over a religious offering and escalated into a physical assault, during which a group of visitors dragged 35-year-old Sewadaar outside and brutally beat him.
Initially attacked with fists, the assailants then used sticks, inflicting severe injuries. Sewadaar was transported in critical condition to the AIIMS trauma center, where he later died despite the doctors’ efforts.
One of the attackers, identified as 30-year-old Atul Pandey, was apprehended by locals and handed over to the police, while the others managed to escape.
