Biker came into contact with live wire

MARANHÃO, BRAZIL – JANUARY 6, 2025 Biker, identified as Simeão, was riding to work in the morning hours on a dirt road connecting Caxias and Mangabeiras. But on that road, a storm the previous night had knocked down a power pole and the wire lay dangerously close to the ground. Simeão failed to react in time and came into contact with the wire. The electric current killed him instantly and knocked him off his motorcycle. When he was found by a random passerby, he was already in a charred state.
